چکیده
Background:Thyroid nodules are found in more than 50% of patients using ultrasonography. The incidence thyroid the population is increasing, between 5% and 15% malignant nodules. In today's era, to identify exact nature very necessary, because cancer most common endocrine malignancy that occurs inflammatory process plays a major role many events, including tumor development, growth, clinical presentation, prognosis. neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) simple index systemic response. This study aims describe neutrophils lymphocytes at RSUD dr. Soetomo Surabaya. Method: 102 cases nodules, both benign malignant, were retrospectively analyzed. We evaluated neutrophil lymphocyte with postoperative pathological anatomic outcomes. Complete blood count differential taken before surgery. NLR was calculated by dividing preoperative count. Samples categorized into low grade (NLR < 1.91) high 1.92). Results: There statistically significant difference neutrophil-lymphocyte (p=0.001). Low values <1.91 25% 9.82% High 1.92 40.18% Conclusion: Patients tend have NLR, whereas lower NLR.

Background: Rheumatoid Arthritis patients are evaluated during treatment for various inflammatory factors such as C-reactive protein, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, and Disease Activity Score, and other immune system-related factors. In the follow-up of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, hematologic factors associated with the immune system especially Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio and Neutroph...
متن کاملThe Effect of Oral Selenium on the Size of Thyroid Nodules in Patients with Benign Thyroid nodules: A Brief Study
Objective: The thyroid gland is susceptible to the formation of nodules. Therefore, due to the critical role of selenium in the function of the thyroid gland, the impact of this element on the size and volume of this organ and its nodules were examined. Materials and Methods: During three months, two groups consisting of 30 patients with benign thyroid nodules who were referred to Baghaeipour ...
متن کاملPrognostic role of neutrophil–lymphocyte ratio and platelet–lymphocyte ratio for hospital mortality in patients with AECOPD
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) is one of the leading causes of hospitalization and is associated with considerable mortality, for which clinicians are seeking useful and easily obtained biomarkers for prognostic evaluation. This study aimed to determine the potential role of the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-lympho...
متن کاملPredictive Value of Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio and Platelet Lymphocyte Ratio in Patients with Coronary Slow Flow.
BACKGROUND Increased microvascular resistance due to chronic inflammation is assumed to be one of the mechanisms associated with coronary slow flow (CSF). Previous studies have shown that the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) are markers of inflammation for various diseases. In this study we aimed to evaluate the relationship between CSF and PLR-NLR. ...
